Sledding Adventures

Me Sledding

This picture is from the other evening when we went sledding down the back hill. This has been my world lately, and we have only gotten more snow. Who knows, this afternoon might call for a sledding trip. Can’t deny the inner child you know…..

  1. Sweet – though I don’t miss the cold – the fun snow offers ain’t too bad! 🙂

Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year

P.S.: Please be so kind to not use special characters like ~ in Skywatch or MyWorld. (Rules). Thanks!

  2. Crumbs! I’d heard you had some snow and a half over there, but that is amazing! I’ve never been on a sled…mind you, we rarely have enough snow. You look glowing!

  3. Wonderful! that is an awesome looking sled! We used to use sacks or little trays(lethal!) when I was a kid in Scotland. These pics are reminding me of so many happy times, nearly breaking my neck!!!

  4. Thank you all for the kind comments, and holiday wishes. I hope you are all having a wonderful Holiday Season! Celebrate each and every moment!

  5. Up here in Coastal BC we have snow as well. Quite a bit for us and it is sticking much longer than usual due to the cold temps. I haven’t been sledding, but driving comes a close second. I invite you to come visit my post about Powell River and see some of the sites we have to offer. — Margy

  6. Oooh, that looks fun – I’ve been hoping to see a bit of snow here but so far none has materialized! It’s unseasonably mild at the moment but, fingers crossed, we’ll have snow at some point this winter.

    Have a fantastic christmas!

  7. I echo what kittyboo says, its sunny here today! No sign of the white stuff as of yet for us 😦 Thats a fab photo, you look so happy xx

    Have a wonderful Christmas x

  8. Well if this white stuff didn’t melt I would mail some to all of you who didn’t have snow for Christmas. Sorry! I will send snowy thoughts your way! I think we are headed out tonight to slide down the hill, the whole family. I will do a few slides for all of you out in blog land that don’t get to this year. I don’t know if it will be quite as exciting as your experiences Hen, but I will try to have fun none the less! hehe. I hope to get some pictures of our slowly accumulating snow to share with all!
